4. Catalyze
Having discerned vision and outcomes
we catalyze experts, research, funding
and leadership to implement the vision.
5. Capacity
We work with initiative partners to
ensure funding and human
resources are available to execute
plans.
6. Completion
We provide the operational
support for the collective work of
initiative partners.
IGNITE PRAYER
Contact: Initial conversations were held with a few prayer leaders to identify the problem.
Concept: This led to a concept conversation on the process that we sensed God leading us to engage in.
Convene: 787 convened prayer ministry leaders from across Canada to ask, “is God asking us to do something in prayer that can only be done if we do it together?” The answer was “yes!”
Catalyze: Due to the resounding “yes,” a steering team with 5 ministry partners was formed to articulate and refine the group’s collective vision, develop the strategic plan, and guide its implementation.
Capacity: 787 Collective plays a pivotal role as the ‘backbone’ engine, providing crucial support to the steering committee and partners to ensure the initiative progresses. This support includes administrative, digital, communications, and financial assistance, which are instrumental in moving the Ignite Prayer Collective forward.
Completion: The 787 team works with Ignite leadership to grow Ignite Prayer Canada to achieve it’s outcomes.
DIGITAL YOUTH INITIATIVE
Contact: 787 initiated a conversation with youth ministry leaders to discern if God was leading us to a national initiative.
Concept: The question that drove the conversation was, “is God asking us to do something that can only be done if we do it together?”
Convene: Youth ministry leaders gathered from across Canada to discern God’s leading. While the group did not discern a collective direction, a dinner conversation with several leaders sparked a conversation on reaching students who have no relatoinship with a person of faith through social media. This needed further exploration.
Catalyze: 787 initiated a conversation with the interested ministry leaders. This proactive step led to the catalyzation of a ministry direction that all agreed should be researched to discern if a unique opportunity was presenting itself to us.
Capacity: 787 provided the funding to enlist a research project leader to provide the ministry leaders with the data they need to make an informed decision whether to move forward with this ministry opportunity.
Completion: The research convinced us that there is a great opportunity to reach students through this innovative approach. we are now raising funds for the “Reach A Million” pilot project to confirm research findings and discern next steps.
